That is incredibly frustrating, because in every other area of my life I achieve every goal that I set for myself. Literally everything that I wanted I achieved, but getting financially successful as an investor. Dating, academia, work, fitness.
For past few weeks I pondered why is that, and today it struck me.
When I do something non-trading related, let’s say finding a great job that pays me twice what I make at the previous one, I have nothing to lose, I am very excited, I constantly think about it. When I take a shower I dream up ways how to approach the problem, when I go to sleep I think about the end result naturally. My attitude is being excited and relaxed.
