I read about how in ancient Egypt people would enter a pyramid and be healed by it. The person would be completely completely by perfectly cut blocks of stones. These perfect blocks surrounded the individual. As the individual focused and gazed upon the perfect stone blocks, every other idea of imperfection started to dissipate as the idea of perfection started to seep and eventually dominate the individual’s consciousness.
You might believe this or you might not. The historical accuracy of this isn’t the point. The point is that this is exactly what Neville talked about. To become so absolutely absorbed by a beautiful ideal that it becomes your dominant state.
Practical advice: Every day, every second, hold the perfect version of you in your mind. Don’t try to manifest it or force a feeling out of it. Just observe it’s perfection and let it overtake you. Remember, it’s not power or force that accomplishes a change in this world. It’s only when we understand our inability to change circumstances, give up on trying to control the outside, that we can only choose what we focus on and identify with, that we can truly understand how this all really works and make a difference. An assumption requires no force, and an assumption is determined by where you focus your attention.

So just observe you perfect ideal, and gradually allow yourself to go deeper and deeper, and start to identify yourself with that ideal little by little. The problem is that we try to change our state abruptly, with force. Changing a state is like trying to get close to frightened kitten. It must be done little by little, and with no abrupt movement that may scare the cat away.
I’m writing this as a reminder to myself as I keep applying what I’ve been learning, and I share it with you in hope that it may be helpful to someone else. I’m no expert (yet). I’m just talking from my experience.
Have a blessed life.
